I picked up the Treo 270 to rplace an old world phone. I hope to be able to use it for E-Mail while in Italy the last 2 weeks of July. I will report back.

FWIW, I run Blazer on both the 7135 and the Treo. Basically, the CDMA 1X vs GPRS. There is not a noticable difference in the Blazer Speed when accessing the same sites. (For the record, I have always sspected that the Browsing on the 7135 was not running at full 1XRTT capabilities. When plugged in through a laptop it is quick, but on the handset it runs a little slow for my taste - only my opinion!)

I am not, unfortunatly, able to run my laptop through the Treo to use the GPRS for a speed test.
