The Cal. recall is going to be a lot more difficult that the GOP thinks. for one thing, look at the spending cuts they want to make. Cutting kindergarden, cutting cops and firemen, closing hospitals, laying off tens of thousands of people. And for what? All to avoid a modest tax which is the same vehicle charge Pete Wilson was charging when he was in office? Nobody likes taxes but every state is facing this now, Bush's deficits are 35X Davi's and he didn't get attacked by the Texas energy bandits in 2000.

Arnold S. looks to have a hit with T3. That may stop him from wanting to run. If it were a flop he might give up acting, but since it's a success, he would be giving up 40 million bucks a year by going into politics. Arnold is more about ego and money than he is about politics. He also knows the Sacramento job would be a major headache. And his personal life would be scrutinized, going back to the days when he was a steroid dealer, the biggest in LA.
