the ceo of jdsu was some kind of strange character,, long beard I believe and always wore the French type cap over his head... Never took it off in any interviews. He got his money, and I think retired and maybe started up another company.. They merged with sdli a canada firm I believe and jdsu also had a factory in Canada although hdqtrs was in Ca.
