Everyone wants to live in California.
Maybe you should check on that with some midwesterners, New Englanders, Southerners, or other Westerners. It may be less popular than you think.

And taxes are going up in all those other states you mention too.
Like CA's will unless something serious is done?

I doubt that.

the federal government is broke, cutting taxes and passing along the burden.
As it should.
How about:
Local gov'ts collect taxes for local responsibilities.
State gov'ts collect taxes for state responsibilities.
The federal gov't collects taxes for federal responsibilities.

California could actually afford to lose a few million people anyway.
Why don't we build some ovens?
Or force them out at gunpoint?
Another good liberal solution here?

But what company wants to move to the Utah desert? Wont attract many quality employees there.
Wanna bet? A lot already have.
There are some things you're leaving out:
high taxes
pollution
congestion
high taxes already
urban blight
high urnan crime rates
ghettoes
When a boom hits, you can't get employees.
When the bust hits, your unemployment insurance rates go up

Yeah, I'm sure nobody will go to the Utah desert to avoid that.

That was not Davis's fault.
Nothimg seems to be Davis's fault, does it? Not even tossing the state treasury in the middle of a car crusher.

By the time anyone figured it out, it was too late.
Thank you for backing up my claim that he's dumber than a tree stump. Certainly too dumb to be governor.
