Jack:
I think that there were people that were just looking for an
excuse. The problem is that CNBC should have let her subscribers
worry about the other.I dont have a large amount of cash just
sitting there. If I have managed to pick stocks that are in an
uptrend and CNBC which can reach more viewers than she can reach
subscribers than they are doing her PR for her and at the very least
helping to create a pause in what the market would do anyway. My
other complaints are:
1. They released this information before they had confirmed it
with her.If you are I would have tried to create a situation by
spreading an unsubstantiated rumor we would have the SEC breathing
down our necks.
2.According to CNBC she had not lived up to her promise of providing
a fax to "Select" subscribers when she recommended a "Sell"
3.Her "Hot line" had not been updated to reflect this "Sell"advice.
4.According to a previous message she was selling stocks. What does
that say when you have a person selling stocks before they have
posted the information to their subscribers.I dont know if they
were stocks she recommended in her newsletter but I believe that the
person who runs a newsletter is not allowed by SEC rule to buy or
sell stocks that they recommend before they release this information
to their subscribers.

In lieu of the above I think it was irresponsible of CNBC
or any network to place credence in such an individual. You dont see
them doing this for Dines, Holt, Davis etc or any other newsletters.

I dont know that the fact that the selling distribution in
AMD means it is going lower.Just that it isnt going any higher at
the present time. All I can tell you is that as of two days ago that
the selling is more pronounced.A recent message stated that his
broker had told him that the buy orders outnumbered the sell orders
by 5 to one. That may be true but it might be that after all buyers
are matched up with sellers that the number of shares that the are
represented by the sellers is more than the ones represented by the
buyers. I dont think that in the real world there has to be an equal
number of sellers for each buyer. So far these charts have been
accurate relatively speaking ie if they show buying and the stock
goes down in price it is very little or they go up in price while the
ones that show selling either dont go up or they go down.
