<(By the way, "fiber to the curb" sounds great, doesn't it? It can mean fiber to the curb in front of your house and shared by you and one or two other neighbors. More often, however, it means fiber to a curb a block or two away shared by many subscribers>

Where FTTC means fiber to a curb a block or 2 away, shared by many subscribers, what do readers see as the problem(s) with the RBOC using MRVC's Ethernet over VDSL solution (see below URL which deals more with such service to MTUs, etc.) from delivering "up to 15 Mbps" over copper to each of the "many subscribers"?

Cost could be the reason, but why would it be the reason if the EoV solution appears to work for MTU's, hotels, etc? Comments appreciated.
