WHY ENGLISH IS SO DIFFICULT Makes for a good article, Ann, but we know these things by age 10. Now if you are coming over here as an immigrant....... I have read that English is the richest language in the world. Couldn't support an argument on that one way or the other. I do know that people who go into K-12 teaching tend to come from the bottom ranks of our college Graduates. They tend to take the courses that lead to a credential the easiest way. K-12 Teachers love to compare their incomes with Lawyers, Doctors, and other "Professionials" as if they were at the same level of difficulty. They are not.
