Good analysis, even if it's after a few 4th of July beers. ;-) If NFLX approaches 50 (bold prediction), they will certainly announce a split.

What do you think of Video On Demand (VOD) evenutally usurping NFLX's market? My fiance was just watching clips of the Today show on my computer, and they were nearly as good as TV. VOD is coming sooner or later and will kill the brick and mortar video rental industry. I hope NFLX is preparing for that evenutality. Whether you get the digital video information in the mail (via NFLX) or via the Internet, it's still digital video information that can be played and viewed if one's TV is configured correctly. VOD will one day take over.

BTW, the markets are looking OVERVALUED. The S&P P/E is still way above the historical norm around 15 (it's around 26 these days). And the VIX index is getting really sleepy. I think August - October is going to be a bad period in the market if we don't get a significant spurt in economic growth and earnings.
