If you come looking for a fight, I'll be happy to give it to you.

Interesting comment. Let's examine your "fight":

There WAS a UN Observer force in place between Egypt and Israel. There WAS a UN CEASE FIRE agreement in place, which those observers oversaw fairly successfully, with relative peace existing on the border. Nasser kicked them out

Wow, that is mind boggling! After I already extablished that this is a lie, you simply come right back and re-post it. Israel violated the cease-fire agreement (for a war that Israel started!!!), and somehow you try to pin this violation of the cease-fire on Egypt? LOL! For the record, Nasser DID NOT kick out the UN troops.

Cut 5% out of the US economy

Who said anything about cutting it out? All Israel had to do was redirect the imports.

Most of that 5% consisted of oil, as you noted.. And since Israel has little to no oil, it's a VITAL commodity.

I like the way you simply skip over the main point in my post - that Egypt is not required to help Israel fuel its military after Israel has made a military threat to Egypt's ally. Another interesting result of your post is that you have justified Pearl Harbor. According to your logic, Japan was justified because of the U.S. embargo on Japanese oil.

That's your idea of a fight? LOL!
