The surprises...should continue to come on the downside.

Hi KB...welcome back! I haven't been closely "monitoring" the market during the last month...since too many other activities have been taking up my time.

I feel very fortunate that all three of my extended family members who served in Iraq are safely home, and are back with their families. The news of continuing attacks on our troops in Iraq must be hard for those who still have family members serving in Iraq. (I think someone who posts on this board has a son currently serving in Iraq?) When my cousin went to meet her husband who was returning home I offered to take care of her yellow lab and her black lab....which IMO was much easier than offering to take care of her two small children, LOL!

IMO the average investor is starting to feel more positive about the stock market. I would think that those who need to or want to sell would have already sold their positions in the stock market...and the recently rallies in the market might attract new investment money? The short interest in so many stocks seems to be very high, which might help to "fuel" a continued rally? The recent changes in the tax laws also IMO will help to provide buyers looking to invest in stocks that pay a dividend.

IMO "buy the dips" still seems to be the pattern of the market.
