Look at the Census figures that the "Washington Times" includes, John. Really damning to the, "more men and money" argument.

I, of course, wasn't thinking of the "more men and money" argument but the "more teachers and money" argument.

Okay, let's look at this a bit. Do you have any idea of the following: (1) teacher salaries in DC as compared to some other base--suburban areas around DC; (2) variance in teacher salaries in DC based on value of housing real estate within DC and as compared to suburban VA; (3) class size comparisons--both of the above; (4) adequacy of teaching support stuff--labs, computing, etc.--both of the above; (5) whether there is, within DC, a correlation between housing real estate values and teacher salaries, classroom sizes, and support facilities.

That would get us started.
