That particular piece of evidence was simply one among many used to make the case. The fact that intelligence estimates are sometimes wrong or not fully correct is hardly news to anyone who knows anything about the intelligence business. In that regard, the aluminum tubes sought by Iraq were much better evidence IMO about Iraq's attempts to reconstitute a nuclear program. It was the overwhelming number of indications of potential deception along with Iraq's unwillingness to comply with the Gulf War accords and 1441 which caused the US to act. So....you may state your opinion as you wish...but it IS just an opinion and will continue to be so.....there is no metaphysical "certitude" in the intelligence business and actions are often predicated on those estimates...
