Reuters Alcatel says wins Chinese deals for 1 mln DSL lines Monday July 7, 6:23 am ET PARIS, July 7 (Reuters) - French telecoms equipment firm Alcatel (Paris:CGEP.PA - News) said on Monday it won orders to deliver one million broadband DSL lines to China, the bulk of them to China Telecom Group. Alcatel gave no value for the orders. It said in a statement that under the contract with China Telecom Group, it would deliver 920,000 DSL lines to 18 provinces and towns in southern China, including Shanghai, Sichuan and Guangdong.
