Haqi, You should re-read my previous posts for my answers to your questions.
I never said disarm. You read into my posts what you think I think.
I have said before and now again that I believe in a strong military, the best in the world for sure.
I do not believe in unilaterally using that force under trumped up intelligence over WMD. I do not believe in dropping 43 bombs on the suspected location of Saddam, killing hundreds of innocents.
When i say that the war was not well thought out, I'm talking about the decision to use force. Obviously the military did their job well. I'm not talking about the military, I'm talking about the decision to go to war at this juncture.
As I said before, I would not preclude the use of force against Saddam. I did not think that it was necessary to kill 10,000 Iraqis and then be in the position of having to occupy the country in the power vacuum. We could have done it differently, and more effectively and in concert with our allies. We failed on these important aspects. The fault of which lies with this administration.
As Americans we need to be the beacon for freedom and justice. And we need to carry that light high in the air. When we attack another country based on iffy intelligence, killing 10,000 people to get one man, we have dimmed that light and lost our moral highground.
