Haim, I started to make a reply to a post on Zeev's board the other day about the housing subject, then decided to trash it .... anyway my lead in line was something like: No that is not necessarily so, in the end it is all about jobs, jobs, jobs, and more jobs. In short I agree totally with both of your points. The lack of job creation is particularly disturbing. Secondarily I don't know if your 7.75 % is correct, but I sure trust it more than the reported 6.4%. AK is having a crunch as well, although we do have a deep oil fund to back us up. Not many states have such.
