Hedonics is very important concept in GDP calculations. I just looked it up: he·don·ics ( P ) Pronunciation Key (h-dnks) n. (used with a sing. verb) (1) The branch of psychology that studies pleasant and unpleasant sensations and states of mind. (2) Philosophy. The branch of ethics that deals with the relation of pleasure to duty I still don't know what you are talking about, scolding me because I was not familiar with the word "hedonics". Now I am pretty sure that neither do you, really. Very important concept in GDP calculations, indeed... Oh and by the way - Sorry to break this to you, but not all of us are native speakers of English. And if my unfamiliarity with certain words and especially the acronyms you guys might use regularly among yourselves convinces you that I am "defaming my purported expertise" (?), so be it.
