Smart money? 12 to 26 in one year...not bad. That's an annualized return of 116.67% by my calculations. Yeah, I agree, if your price target of 26 materializes, then a purchase now would be prudent.
I placed my clients in ISSI at 8 7/32 on 10/29/96. Yesterday I placed sell orders at 13 (none filled, still open), which would give my clients a return of 58.18% over the past 280 days. If I'm not mistaken, that annualizes to 75.84%. Granted, that still leaves me 40.83% shy of your predicted return, but my clients get it a year earlier, without having to depend on a rosey forecast to cash in the chips. Smart money depends on your cost base.
I thought this company was a steal last October, but I wouldn't have any interest in it at these levels. I am, however, very pleased to here that you find value in this company at these price levels. Hopefully there are enough investors out there who share your optimism to cash my clients out at 13. |
