(a) the brand new rules liberalizing foreign institutional investment in Taiwan stock exchange may lead to portfolio flows, and (b) should Mainland currency revalue against the USD, the TWD may go up, either as part of plot or naturally, as Taiwanese convert out of USD as precaution.
