You might want to stop by a Verizon outlet to make sure you have the latest flash and check settings with a tech. I suppose that it is possible you are somehow accessing IS-95 carrier, and there are settings that cap max throughput even with 1xRTT. I can't be much help. My 7135 is still in the box, inactivated. My intention is to clean up my 6135, and put it in the charging cradle for use as a spare PDA. Just haven't taken the time to do it yet. You might also want to PM psylent, who is pretty experienced with mobile data (although not necessarily the 7135), and of course check in on: smartphonesource.com - Eric -
