Brk,

I dont think Donny wants to short Findwhat any further. He went short back in 2001 and privately admitted to me that he has already lost $60,000 on it. I know this is going to piss him off, but he has been so rude that I really dont care... he wrote to me a few weeks ago and said that because of his day trading and foolish trades he is now in danger of losing his home. That is what you get for being an impulsive fool! Reference these posts where he detailed how bearish he was on the company right before it quadrupled in value:

Message 17377755 (this was right before he lost the biggest chunk of his investments)

Message 17022802 (this was when he was frustrated at the modest amount of money he has already lost on his short)

Message 16304085 (this was when he was first doubting the company's prospects)

That said, I do think Findwhat is fairly valued here at 23. I wouldnt be surprised to see it pull back into the mid teens. It is a great company, and like Overture, has a profitable business model and is in a booming niche industry, but its stock price is accurately reflecting its potential right now.

As for Overture... I lost thousands and thousands this spring on some short-term call options, but fortunately I made much more on option plays before that and of course I am happy with my 80% gain on the shares I have held for more than a couple of years now. Regarding its future direction... I also think Overture is fairly valued at 22 right now. In the past I thought it would go much higher by this summer, but they have made some changes in policy that have dampened their potential. I dont see the stock going much outside of the 15 to 30 range unless something big happens. Some of these new content-based listings are a development worth watching. Google, Overture, and all of the players are getting into these and they are likely to represent a new source of revenue that was previously untapped.
