Bush's tax cuts stimulate dividend investment, yes. And we now see the market becoming a bubble again. But what does this do for the people who really need help or the unemployed? Nothing much at all. Bush's tax cuts serve the wealthy and the affluent, the investor class. Most of all they serve the big family fortunes who are heavily invested in long-term dividend producing stocks. And they get their estates tax-free now too. It's a good time to be rich. Unfortunately far fewer people are these days.
