I tend to agree that 0.13 is probably the most cost-effective way of production at this time. However, the damands for more capacity sometime is hard to predict.

If the demands - a big IF, though - indeed as VLSI claims - come to the level that makes the current 0.13 fabs fully utilized, the newer 300mm and sub-0.13 capacity may not be able to catch up fast enough.

That is the case VLSI tries to make, I guess.

No matter what, ATML is well positioned for growth, and it is one of the most undervalued chip companies - IMHO.
