Iraq is without doubt a major burden on the USA now, and especially on our troops there and our tax dollars. Everyone's saying we need more troops and more money sent to Iraq ASAP or else. Ouch. Could get very-very expensive, creating a welfare state in Iraq paid for us we the American People. Plus, if current casualty levels keep up we could be talking 500 more dead and 2000 more wounded by election time. That's if we're "lucky" and they don't bomb one of our barracks like they did in Beirut.
