I wonder if, in other cultures, there is the phenomenon of the outraged male loner who goes ballistic and shoots people, like the guy at the Lockheed Martin plant today?

I'm sure its pretty universal. I've read of incidents in China, and know of incidents in Europe (France, Switzerland, Germany....), with people going off the deep end, taking a gun to a town council meeting and taking revenge. It is very largely a male thing though.

Luckily it's fairly rare, which makes it seem all the more spectacular when it does happen.
