Yeah, sales. But seriously, as has already been pointed out, the large numbers of Zip drives in the world make it easier to exchange data with others.

Shark media is a bit pricey, too. Hard disks cost more to make than floppies. So I imagine that we will not see the media prices decreasing too quickly, unless Avatar throws in the towel and starts clearing them out.

One more thing. According to virtually all reports, Zips are quite reliable. We don't have enough information yet to make a call about the Shark.

Shark definitely is a good looking product. I've said so before. I'm sure Avatar will sell some drives. I doubt that they will take over the market from Zip, though.
