I live out in the boonies of western washington. Most of the houses have 5 acres or more around here. We've got 2 apple, 2 cherry trees, grapes, blackberries, and lot's of weedy grass that grows to about 4 feet. I think it's wild oats or something.

There's a couple of deer that come around this time of year and eat the fruit. 2 Buks and 3 Does. My house mate tells me, we can get a nuisance license to shoot a deer, and be fully stocked up on fresh organic meat for the winter. It's not such a bad idea, since i didn't try to raise any chickens this year.

Its kind of isolated out here, and its a 60 mile drive out to town, when i need supplies, and pickup library books that i can reserve online.
