I just noticed the 10 day course that is required for Vipassana. It seems like it would be a good vacation or retreat but the ten days in a row seems a bit demanding to be away from home. What was your experience like? Was it difficult to not be able to talk for 10 days? I would probably welcome it. Especially if I could break my old habits and the negative way my mind is wired, in exchange for it. It just seems a bit difficult to be away from the family for that length of time. Everything else on the list seems like it is something that I could do. dhamma.org I suppose enlightenment comes at a cost... <g> <ng> Speaking of cost, I notice that they don't ask for any money up front but accept donations from those who feel they have benefitted from it.
