Dean's grassroots movement in similar to others in the past. It is mainly made up of angry anti-establishment more left-wing democrats who were against the war. I have no beef with these Dean supporters. But I picked Kerry because I know you cannot win a national election with an angry leftist message. The GOP will rip Dean apart if he's nominated. All they have to do is refer to his quote that someday American may not be a #1 power, or that he doesn't know how many people we have in the military. That would result in the Dukakisization of Dean immediately and he'd be lucky to win 5-6 states in the general election.

Kerry on the other hand is almost as liberal, but since he's a Silver Star winner who took bullets, killed enemy, still shoots and pilots planes etc, as well as beign a vets rights champion, he has the power to make Bush look like a military midget. Bush after all went AWOL back in the 70's while John was in combat on the mekong.
