People in the United States think the Iraq regime was a dull, backward, unsophisticated group of country bumpkins.
Do not think they are not JUST AS CAPABLE of inventive military strategy. The Iran-Iraq veterans have seen it all, I mean ALL: suicide squads, missile attacks on cities, heat, months of combat, executions as motivation, gas, chemical, prisoners of war....
They knew that in a matter of weeks (4?-6?-12?) that the United States would overrun the country. What would be the best course of action, with that given:

But people won't do it in general. So, turn loyal military into "looters". Pick high-profile targets. The world press is your ally.
Kill a soldier a day, minimum. Never let the press not report at least one death a day.
Do every thing to make this the reality:
"The US Military is out to Punish the Common Iraqi...because they are BAD. Please Leave."
