Oh come now Rascal. <vbg>

(Did you feel this way about Whitewater? Travelgate?
FBI files?)

Hoo Haa! Had it been up to me Col. O. North would have been but a pink spot on Pink Floyd's Wall long before he had a chance to waste our time and taxes in front of the Iran Contra Cameras.

Even the most innocuous, simple projects deserve postmortum review. Else the mistakes are never identified, processes are not improved, science is not served.

I have nothing against post mortems. My problem is with the "Dog and Ponies." How many times do they get to put you through this self-promoting, castle building fluff before you demand a halt. <Hoo>

Science? I suppose the study of ways and means to separate you from your common sense, personal responsibility and your cash could be called "science" ...in some bizarro universe. But around my house we call it Sheep Shearing! <Hoo><Hoo>

Let's see now... Just how many centuries was it after all the Congressional/GAO post morteming advising us on the ways and means the S&L entrepreneurs, lawyers and accountants used to pound us for $300 Billions? <vbg>

Surely it must have taken at least a generation before we'd let the entrepreneurs, lawyers and accountants come back and do the very same thing to us right?! <Hoo><sigh><Ughhh>

I'm not asking for much Rascal. I just want one credible basis for assuming that there is anything about 9/11 that:

1. We don't already know; and that

2. The "discovery" of which by Mom & Pop would justify redirecting Agent Scully's administrative assistant to spend two days in the archive/file/copy room to get.

No Rascal. Science it is not. Government post mortemization is nothing short of a business - no its an industry - and it feeds at least 1 million mouths a day. ...As any evil mortem/industrial complex is wont to do. <g>

...And it's high time somebody slapped their mouths shut and made them get real jobs. ...Of course, that means they'd have to get visas and work permits to enter China, ...or possibly Iraq... and that will no doubt generate much more "Kill Americans" sentiment...

Well! Looks to me like you've got yourself a fine mess here Rascal.

...Best of luck! <Hoo><Hoo>
