The canadian dollar slid almost a full United States of America cent yesterday to its lowest level in a month as investor optimism about a United States of America economic rebound added strength to the United States of America currency, while weakening others.

At yesterday's close, the canadian dollar was worth United States of America S73.29¢ down from United States of America S74.22¢. The canadian dollar fell as far as United States of America S72.92¢ during the session.
