NEITHER LONDON SPOT NOR COMEX GOLD FUTURES GENERATED FIGURES NECESSARY TO VERIFY A BOTTOM TODAY WHICH I HAD EXPECTED.

ALTHOUGH THE FUTURES HAVE RETURNED FOR THE TEST OF THE LOWS OF 6/27 AND 6/28, AS I THOUGHT, AUGUST DID MAKE A SLIGHTLY LOWER LOW YESTERDAY (BY $.80) AND THEN DID NOT PERFORM AS REQUIRED TODAY FOR A BOTTOM VERIFICATION.

AS SUCH, VERIFICATION OF A FINAL BOTTOM IS DELAYED FOR AT LEAST ONE MORE DAY AND POSSIBLY THROUGH FRIDAY.

but you are right i must have read too much into that. although if he is waiting for verification in one or two days then that really means that he strongly thinks gold will bottom in those two days.
