I have noticed a lot being said about Wilson and the Nigeria report. Right off the bat I don't believe President Bush knew there was a problem with the report when he cited it.

OTOH, I noticed he has said there was more nuclear material in Iraq than had been thought.

Now let me lay this out. The US had an operative in Iraq telling the US about the Iraqi nuclear program. Nuke material was important to mention as the third leg of the WMD program but mentioning it without another source would put our operative in jeopardy. Along comes the report, problem solved.
