Could Iraq War/occupation cost 500 billion over 5-7 years? If so, think of what we could do with that money instead on hydrogen energy alone. We could create an entire infrastructure in the US which would be capable of getting us 20% off oil within ten years, and entirely off foreign oil within 20 years. Thousands of details to this, but it could be done. All it takes is new leadership. We would also save thousands of lives and clean up this country of much of its pollution.
