Kelly,

A funny thing happened, when I went on vaction in Mid-June. I came back last week and found out that we may be in the midst of the Great Tech Sale of 1996. So I plowed through all of the earnings reports that I had received, but I couldn't find the culprit. Xicor's story still seems intact. Estimated annualized earnings growth of about 45% over next year and half and a PE of around 13.5. I plan on buying more Xicor in the near future, but I don't believe one needs to rush in.

I do have one concern that you or someone else may be able to shed some light on. I generally look for companies with little or no long term debt. A lesson I learned the hard way by buying the now non-exisitent Midway Airlines back in 1989. Anyway the concern is the big jump in XICO long term debt during the QTR. According to the earnings release I received it went up from about 5 mil. to over 13 mil. Can someone elaborate as to why?

P.S. To everyone this has got to be one the best threads out there. Just the right amount of analysis and humor. Yes, there is occassional whiner, but they don't last long.

Thanks to All
