I love your notion here, but reality seems to be getting in our way on our quest for truth, justice and the American way.
There are literally dozens of Bush supporters on this thread for whom the truth doesn't matter, justice is for wimps and the American way is to treat the Iraqis just the same way the white boys treated the native Americans. How do we get these people to get out of their Churches of the Holier-Than-Thou and admit that they are supporting the biggest scoundrel on the planet? I think it can't be done, because all of the Bush cheerleaders (and you know who you are!) are just as crooked, corrupt and craven as Bush is. And they like being wicked. They like being greedheads. They like being not too bright dittoheads. They like being mediocre. How do we overcome this?

As you may be aware, American Fascists (also known as Republicans) have done whatever they can to make sure that any point of view other than their own is never heard by the American People.
The other day, in a big chain bookstore, I was looking at the "Current Affairs" section but was just so turned off by seeing Michael Savage's ugly face on the cover of his so-called book "Savage Nation." So, I turned the whole stack of books around so that the blank pages face out, and fronted the stack with a copy of a book on the World Criminal Court that seemed so dry that I fear that it is destined for the "Bargain Bin."
Well! This really improved the looks of the bookshelf, so I went around to the Religion section, and found the one copy of Dr. Laura's "The Ten Commandments". This book is now making the acquaintance of a large sleeved box set of books on Buddhism, from the rear.
I encourage you all do do this next time you are in a bookstore, and nobody is looking... This is a bit of juvenile fun that ought to make you feel better, and which can help keep the evil seed of fascism from rooting itself in the fertile minds of our youth.
