Bushies have always been fibbing about the cost of Iraq. Now they admit 5 billion per month but it's a probably higher. Not to mention the human costs, and the fact we need more troops and money in there now, not less. Meanwhile Americans are starting to want our troops brought home, and the troops themselves are starting to desperately want out of there. "Bring it on" wasn't such a good attitude. Nevertheless, what choice do we have now but to stay and fight and try to fix the impossible mess? This war is Bush's legacy, his crowning achievement, his "victory". So we can judge him on his achievements next year when he'll be running on his record.
