"...in 1997, the then Ambassador to the U.N., Madeleine Albright, said blithely that this was "an acceptable cost to our policy". I know this history well and have been protesting it for some years. btw, Albright was not speaking for the Bush Administration. My complaint had to do with who was being targeted (innocents). The despotic and tyrannical regime of Saddam is the enemy. When the proper target was addressed, I stopped my protest.
