But it is not represented as "Combat". It is given the slant of "Occupiers versus Innocent Citizens". What is your typical, daily picture? A guy, standing in the sweltering heat, being searched in a humiliating fashion by a heavily armed US soldier with sunglasses on. DAILY!

The fact that electricity is sporadic and sabotaged is not viewed as a strategy by the hiding military command. It is viewed by the media as if the damn Amriki can't grab their heads with both hands, much less keep the A/C going.

It is a strategy that is easily leveraged, because "bad news" is always reported, "typical news moving toward good news" is too boring and complex.

Here is the summary of the military's strategy: present a picture of occupier incompentancy, and Saddam as "lurking". Who are you going to back? The "incompetents", or the "stealth" fighters? You life is your bet.
