Folks, The world is going to wake up and understand that the dynamics in the 56k modem market is changing rapidly in ASND's favor. This is fact: 1) ASND uses Rockwell K56 technology, the other large K56 vendors Cisco and Livingston do not. They both use a competing K56 technology, I have substaniated through five seperate ISP that the Rockwell chip sets are four months ahead of their competitor, this gives ASND over a quarter lead against others that are not using Rockwell technology. All ISPs that I have talked to that were even contemplating switching to other RAS equipment are not even considering it anymore. The ISPs that I talked to gave the competition to ASND every opportunity to bring in a competing box and commit to a delivery date in the summer none could. 2) The ISPs I talked are seeing a noticeable difference in connect rates and stability in K56 vs X2. K56 outperforming X2 consitently. The ISPs that I talked to are in the midwest, and are the leading ISPs in this part of the country. 2)
