Have I missed something? Is the Gulf of Tonkin in American waters? We were indisputably attacked in American territory. The immediate agency might have been Al- Qaida, but Iraq has long been considered the primary obstacle to change in the Middle East, and was part of the program of pursuing the War on Terrorism. The Domino Theory is no comparison to terrorists making direct attacks on Americans, especially in our own land.

Public sentiment overwhelmingly favors some prescription drug coverage. That supported by the Administration would improve the current situation, by getting a number of seniors off of Medicare, albeit with a tax incentive, and narrowing those who remain on to the needier cases. Direct responsibility for Medicare would diminish, and market forces would play a role.

I mean things like comparing the attack on the World Trade Center to the Gulf of Tonkin.........
