In MN a unicameral legislature was Jesse's big (as you say ) hobby horse. Everyone else in the state got glassy eyed when he brought the subject up and nothing ever came of it but he was really serious about it.

But in all the discussion pro and con, no one ever pointed out what I just said about the conference committees - and it drove me nuts. It's worse in this state then in the Fed legislature. Stuff that comes out of the conference committee here often bears NO resemblance WHATSOEVER to what the House and Senate pass.
