Whether it is in Kurdistan, or in southern Iraq or anywhere in that region, Indian troops are likely to be regarded as hostile. Troops from Pakistan, Bangladesh and other Muslim countries might be more acceptable though.

I talked to a few people from that part of the world and the general feeling, regardless of whether they are from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka..., is that the US cooked this dish and the US alone has to eat it and digest it!
