Whatever. You're the guy with the "US growth is fiction" mantra. As for predicting the path of US equity indexes, demographics is destiny for the stock market. Which is why the patented Chen meltdown won't show for another 6 to 8 years. There's something about this that just doesn't work for the rocket scientist types, of which you may be one. Why? Seems too simple, I guess. But, believe it or not, the future will bring negligible inflation, low interest rates, resurgent economic growth and skyrocketing equities until the end of the decade. After that, you may wish to be domiciled in rented real estate with your net worth in sackfuls of cash under the bed. Down, up, down. Now that wasn't linear was it?
