Grin - Laz, I actually know of two people who have been the eharmony route.
One, after trying it, decided that it was not for him at this time, as nothing 'clicked'.
The other is a dynamite Christian girl who had been married years ago early in life, burned and the marriage ended faster than it began. She had remained unmarried and when the time was right she decided to try eharmony. She found a gentleman, or he her, through that site. He too, is a Christian, an elder in his church and has two little children of whom he has custody. They have visited back and forth for months across the states, and both, tho cautious decided it was going to be a go. She actually picked up and moved to his state recently after months of long distance dating.
They have met with his pastor. She loves his children and they her. She had decided to live there in her own place as she can easily support herself and get to know him better on an everyday basis and then they planned to marry.
She is 40ish, I believe, tho one would think mid thirties at the most - vibrant, kind, fun-loving and serious -all mixed into one - and so cute... Lucky Guy! tho she thinks she is also fortunate.
Hey... another Very successful marriage of which I know began as an answered ad in the newspaper. I knew the daughter - of good friends of mine. He had a responsible job, college degree, not a lot of time and shy. hehehe... the gal he married is quite the opposite... outgoing, fun loving a great mother, and loves him greatly... They have five kids...
Watch out.... hehehe... postal and email correspondence might cause loads of little Laz's to arrive on the scene ;)
