Latching onto this sort of fabricated, conspiratorial revisionist history... And the fact that there were apparently only 4 combat loaded aircraft available at that time for intercept, but not at Andrews AFB, but at Langley, make it irrelevant about any kind of warning having made a potential difference. The bottom line was we were caught with our pants down, attacked by a means that few credibly believed was a viable threat. Nearly everyone, minus a few "prophets" out in the wilderness, had been expecting car-bombs, or suicide bombers, not civilian aircraft being used as bombers. Hawk
