Yes if you are looking for yield and diversification then Viking is fine. I owned it but sold when I lightened up when everything was popping. I'd probably like it better than PVX (a little lower than here maybe) but it won't be as liquid for you would it ? BTW didn't PVX just cut their dividend to .17 from .20 CDN ? I guess you noted that and are targeting the mid 7's figuring they'll keep a similar dividend % ? If you go for PVX I'd forgo the current dividend and wait for July 17 ex-div date or later to buy. The prices can sometimes be silly around then.

Something else to consider. On SJT and HGT I haven't ever played them as I prefer CanRoys which will grow. Your US versions are oneway streets from what I've seen.

VET is I think a good holding LT. Whish I'd bought in the lower 12's when I could have, or upper 12's for that matter now LOL...
