Please show evidence of any post I've written, defending Saddam.
It's not that love Saddam, you just blacken the effort to get rid of him, until it begins to sound like you think it was a bad idea (actually, you did think it was a bad idea, didn't you?). You keep pointing out the same points again and again, such as "eliminating Ba'athists from the rolls is not democracy". You are told, "it's a necessary prerequisite" and you reply, "but it's not democracy". You are told, look at the big picture, the political situation, and you reply, "but it's not democracy". You are fixating on debate points, you don't seem interested in evaluating the overall situation. |
