No We are having a recoveryless recovery we still have a long way to go. from the GI thread With oil still up around 30 bucks a barrel and the housing market still going nuts, it is hard to imagine that we aren't getting some inflation. And the catch phrase that I am stuck with is "recoveryless recovery". The only way that businesses are able to keep their numbers above water is to continually cut costs...at this point, mainly through employee reduction. People who stop generating income, stop buying stuff eventually.
