Then we will have to differ- the Ba'athists seem far from "unique", and oddly enough, that wasn't really posited as the excuse for the invasion. Iraq didn't become imminently Ba' athist, now did they? Intent to attack the US? Hard to find that in your post- the "possibility" and "capability" existed (as they exist almost everywhere)- but nothing like "plentiful proof" of the reality it. Yes there is that, so far, non-existent Al Qaida link. I'll grant you that there are many disputed and insubstantial "links" to many things. I hesitate to call them links, when they are as insubstantial as they are.

You infer intent from capability, and then declare you have both, Naughty naughty.
